We ended up with 406 head today at Valley Stockyard in Moulton Alabama.
Slaughter prices were steady. High dressing cows bought $1.78- 1.99. Feeder prices were steady as well.
– 64 heifers weighed 685 @ $3.565/ lb
– 16 steers weigh 634 @ $4.40/ lb
Heavy four weight steers brought up to $5.225/ lb.
We sold pairs off the herd up to $5100 and young middle- long bred cows off the herd brought $3400-3600.
